Aufgabengebiet: In cooperation with a Zurich based recruitment agency we are looking for a M&A Analyst. The client is a group of companies focused on the tech industry. The business incubate new technologies, design and develop software, provide IT infrastructure, and offer marketing services with over 600 employees in five countries. In the process of further growth we are now looking for a Junior
M&A Analyst In this position, you will be performing an analytical review of Deal opportunities, and contribute to the assessment and execution of M&A projects. This includes interactions with other colleagues involved in acquisitions/deals, such as legal, accounting, taxes, and divisional leaders; plan and execute data gathering on targets and information channels; involvement in development of commercial case and corresponding assumptions; model and perform comprehensive multi-criteria company valuations, including pro-forma impact analysis. You will be reporting to the senior M&A lead located in Baar/ZG.
What you’ll do:
Support the team in international M&A projects with focus on technology industry Support strategically motivated acquisitions and private equity investments Support the preparation of business plans Build and design financial models/valuations (public market information and M&A transaction multiples and discounted cash flow valuation methodologies) by using a wide range of research tools for market and company analysis Perform industry and company specific research Provide all other support as assigned Assist in preparing questions about financials that will be used during the negotiations Coordinate with external consultants and advisors e.g. lawyers, tax consultants or other advisors as the case may be on particular deals Perform financial due diligence in the process of an acquisition Support in the preparation of board presentations on potential future acquisitions

Anforderungen: Minimum university degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management or Economics; Chartered Financial Analyst or public accounting designation is an asset Ideally some prior work experience in Corporate Finance / M&A / Transaction Services Knowledge in corporate finance and the ability to analyse both financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail (adept at financial statement analysis is a must) Excellent communication skills in English, any additional language is a plus Entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality at all times A team player with strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new skills Innovative ideas and start-up like mentality.
