Job Duties: In cooperation with a Zurich based agency we are looking for an Investment Manager Multi-Assets.
As part of the new team you will provide services tailored to the needs and objectives of one of the principle families. Entrepreneurial, philanthropic and cosmopolitan are only three words to describe the family.
The Investment Manager will work with the Head of the Family Office and the family to design and implement an investment strategy that will serve the needs of the family now, while also ensuring multi-generational success.
In detail this will be the content of this versatile role:
Monitoring of existing investments in various fields (e.g.financial, real estate, charities, etc.) Work with the family and experts to design long term investment strategy and review/update at least annually Build and manage an asset allocation model to support that strategy and review/update at least quarterly Evaluate and analyze all current investments for suitability within that model Prepare and implement a migration plan where it doesn’t fit Work with the Head of the Family Office to design and implement a banking strategy that suits above plans Develop a large network of EAMs globally that can manage the various investments Link up EAMs as needed to leverage information to optimize returns (for example, feed intel from PE investments to groups managing public equity investments to review IPO opportunities) Create and manage investment funnel if and as needed, and chair regular investment committee meetings to facilitate same Manage short term (<12 months) cash holdings to optimize returns before funds are spent/deployed Work with external auditors to verify all investments annually Preparation of audits Work with the Family Office Associate to prepare reporting as needed by the family Consolidate all assets (bankable and non-bankable)

Job Requirements: University degree in Business or Economics, ideally completed by an additional certificate Relevant practical experience in Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Private Banking or similar Experience with digital businesses Excellent language skills in English (German is a big plus) High affinity to Investment management topics with good knowledge of financial instruments and markets Good presentation and communication skills (German and English) Diligent, open-minded and outgoing team player and networker with high level of credibility Can-do attitude with high level of proactivity International mindset with the ability for intuitive decision-making Joined-up thinking
