Job Duties:
In cooperation with a Zurich based recruitment agency we are searching for a CEO Real Estate.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the development and execution of the organisation’s Real Estate strategy. He/she will ensure the effective translation of the overall strategic direction from the Board of Directors into actionable business plans.

The CEO will provide leadership and drive strategic planning, business development and economic operations.

The candidate will also manage the overall operations and business activities to ensure that they produce the desired results, are consistent with the overall strategy and objectives, and the highest level of service is maintained.

The CEO is also expected to establish positive relationships with key stakeholders, government entities and other business leaders.

Primary Roles andResponsibilitiesThe main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead the development and execution of the organisation’s Real Estate strategy,and ensure the effective translation of the overall strategic direction from the Board of Directors into actionable business plans.

Communicate and implement a strategic plan that guides the direction of the Real Estate Department and provide your management team with adequate information to execute their tasks.

Oversee the real estate operations, business activities and budget to ensure efficiency, quality, the highest level of service, cost-effective management of resources and proper coordination with the CEO –Real Estate Development and other Department Heads on various real estate projects and initiatives.

Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders, policy makers/regulators and other business leaders.

Analyse the real estate market and maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, real estate acquisition opportunities and industry developments, and provide sound real estate advice to the Supervisory Board and Investment Committee.

Implement strategies for generating resources and revenues for the Company to meet commitments to all stakeholders.

Drive decision-making that results in an improvement in the real estate business.

Ensure that risks to the real estate business are assessed, monitored and mitigated.

Develop strategies to ensure their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, as well as explore new ideas and technology to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency in the buying and selling of real estate.

Support the HR function in establishing an appropriate people-friendly culture and acceptable standard of behaviour and work environment within the Group.

Job Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.

A professional qualification such as Certification in Corporate Real Estate or LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a plus.

Must have 15+ years’ Hotel/Resort development experience in the Caribbean/Southern USA/Central America.

10+ years’ senior management experience in the Real Estate Industry.

A strong visionary with proven leadership qualities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess strong analytical, crisis management and problem solving skills.

Business acumen and the ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and all levels of leadership.

Ability and proven experience to lead, coach and mentor a team.

Ability to develop and motivate the necessary management talent to maintain the organisation's overall objectives.

Willingness to work in a high energy, fast and evolving organisational environment.
