This function provides services tailored to the needs and objectives of one of the principals. The Investment Manager will design and implement an investment strategy for managing a significant portfolio of investments. A part of the overall portfolio is managed in close cooperation with a peer abroad.

In details these are the main duties:

Establishment of a comprehensive strategic and tactical asset allocation considering the capital requirements for other business activities and the interests of the client
Overview and comment on macro-economic trends and activities
Regularly review the established strategic and tactical asset allocation and propose changes to it to the Investment Committee
Continuously monitor existing investments (e.g. venture capital, private equity, listed securities etc.) and assess their suitability
Manage the due diligence process for potential investments
Establishment of a rolling cash flow forecast with Finance to ensure sufficient liquidity at all times
Manage short term investments to increase the overall yield
Evaluate and review potential new investment strategies / investments, e.g. digital assets, private equity, venture capital
Prepare a consolidated (bankable and non-bankable) reporting to the Investment Committee and principal

Anforderungen:
We are looking for a motivated out-of-the-box thinker with a high level of discretion and a positive mindset. In detail you should have the following skill set:

University degree in Business or Economics, ideally completed by an additional certificate (CFA, CIIA or similar)
Relevant practical experience (e.g. Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Treasury, etc.)
High affinity to Investment management topics with good knowledge of financial instruments and markets
Proven track record with Private Equity and Venture Capital vehicles
Proven experience in the digital asset business
Strong leadership skills
Good presentation and communication skills (German and English)
Trustworthy and reliable personality
Hands-on self-starter with high level of proactivity
Capable of handling ad-hoc issues with adequate flexibility and detail-orientation
Excellent German and English language skills
Diligent, open-minded and outgoing team player and networker with high level of credibility
International mind-set with the ability for intuitive decision-making
Joined-up thinking
